Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center
Lothlorien Therapeutic Riding Center, founded in 1983, offers adaptive riding and horsemanship programs for people of all abilities from age four. Many riders have intellectual or physical disabilities, but no diagnosis is required. The ten-acre center near East Aurora, New York has a 13-stall barn, seven pastures, an outdoor sand arena and a heated indoor arena. Accessible mounting ramps, adaptive equipment and specially trained horses support the lessons, which are led by instructors with volunteer help.
