Reitstall Behrens is a family-run full-board livery yard in Lehre, Lower Saxony, with 25 boarding places offered either as boxes or as open-stable spaces. The horses spend the day outdoors in gender-separated groups on paddocks with constant access to fresh water and hay, moving onto the directly adjoining meadows in summer and into the barn or the fully surfaced open-stable area each evening. Feeding is exclusively low-dust, high-quality hay from the yard's own production, with wood or straw pellets used for bedding to keep the barn air near dust-free. Facilities include a bright 20 x 40 m indoor arena with an ebb-and-flow surface, an outdoor arena, a horse solarium and a wash area, and the yard keeps allergy-friendly and emergency boxes. All breeds and riding styles are welcome, although horses shod with iron shoes on the hind feet cannot be accepted for safety reasons.
